A beginner will have no idea what the software is or why they need it until you've trained them on the basics first. So instead of selling the software directly, you sell a low-cost course that teaches them a specific skill like building a website, and the software naturally helps them do it faster and better. Step 2 - Demonstrate real value Deliver what you promise and teach them the skill so your customer trusts your advice and will more than likely buy your other products and recommendations. It's important that you price your course low to get as many people through the door early on, even if it means making a small loss on the front-end, in order to position yourself for back-end sales. Step 3 - Over-deliver and get them back for more You need to give your customers a reason to log back into your members area or at the very least continue reading your emails so you can present more offers. The best way to do this is to simply give them more training videos or downloadable reports or provide valuable email lessons. Step 4 - Make it obvious there's more to buy Don't make it difficult for customers to buy more products from you. Make your back-end offers and recommendations obvious. Then leave it there and forget it and continue getting more customers through the door.
